The Division of Gastroenterology at Duke University Medical Center continues to be ranked in the top 10 by
U. S. News and World Report, this year placed at #7 in the country for Digestive Disease Care & Research. With many faculty members that are national and international leaders in their specialty, the unique talents of the gastroenterology staff have established Duke as a major referral center for diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, biliary and pancreatic disorders, Hepatitis C and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, inflammatory bowel disease as well as a variety of gastrointestinal diseases.
In addition, outpatients with diverse diseases are seen daily in GI clinics, as well as in specialty clinics for liver, biliary and pancreatic problems, and inflammatory bowel disease.
